We are raising funds in memory of Azad bhai for Zahra Trust because they will help us to build water wells in his name.
Azad Bhai Kassam was a dear friend and a father like figure to many. He served his community with continuous energy, love and always with a smile.
This page has been set up by a group who remember the days when he took us swimming as kids and taught us many life lessons each time we were in his presence. He will be missed by us all, especially during the Shahr Ramadhan prayers to open the fast as it was his voice that we all grew up listening to each year. We pray that the Almighty swt accepts all your donations in his loving memory.
Many times when we think of the need for free flowing water, we overlook the need for clean sanitation. The Zahra Trust continues to provide water wells and sanitation facilities to needy communities and families around the world. This means that in the hot scorching heat our brothers and sisters do not have to travel miles to fetch water and have the same freedom to quench their thirst, bathe and use the washroom as we do.
The Zahra Trust was founded as a compassionate response to witnessing poverty first hand in the Middle East. It was established as a unique transparent organisation that not only assists with the distribution of aid but also raises awareness of development, humanitarian and spiritual issues.
